AutoASSETS is a fixed asset inventory management system designed to provide clients with a proper inventory and distribution of their assets throughout their life cycle. Salient features of the system include asset authorization procedure, asset adjustment mechanism and asset depreciation using multiple methods. Management reporting is enabled for quick and easy viewing of current asset portfolio at all stages in their lifecycle.
Incorporated functionality includes:
Asset acquisition and authorization - Detailed information of the asset is captured and maintained in this module. New assets specifications can be input and inquiries against existing assets can also be reviewed at any time.
Asset maintenance - Enables up to the minute information on the status of assets includes entries for disposals, single or multiple transfers and current ownership. The module also enables deals with single or multiple leasing companies to be maintained.
Asset adjustment and authorization - This stage enables the user to input assets which require back dated adjustments. It allows input of new assets purchased on a previous date which need to be adjusted in the current month with effect from the previous purchase date.
Assets depreciation - This module manages the depreciation of assets. The system has the support to manage different types of depreciation calculation including single asset, all assets, re-calculation of depreciation process, change in amount and category wise change in amount.
Assets inquiry - The inquiry option enables a user to view all information of assets depreciation and their respective transaction history.
Assets transfer facility - Assets can easily be transferred from one unit to another using the asset transfer facility.
Own to lease and vice versa - This option is used to change the status of leased assets to owned assets after completion of the defined lease period.
Multi-branching - This feature enables a complete listing of all assets held at different locations to be easily maintained and retrieved.
Administration - All parameters related to administration of AutoASSETS are centrally maintained for easy update by the system administrator.
Reporting - Reporting is a vital part of every system though which its utility can easily be analyzed. The AutoASSETS system offers robust reporting capabilities, providing for complete automatic generated client side documentation, which improves efficiency and provides faster client processing. The reports provide comprehensive details including cost, depreciation, accumulated depreciation, written down value and life of assets etc.
Menu driven interface - Enables users to navigate through different menus or use keyboard commands to directly access particular functions. Moreover, it contains an option enabling users to customize the menu contents and error messages. Pop-up help screens are also available giving information about the different codes used within the system.
